Madame Tussauds remains one of the Capital's most iconic visitor attractions and has done so for over 200 years. The brief was to capture various exhibits of the 'Spirit Of London' ride after its recent lighting system upgrade by A. C. S. P.

The 'Spirit of London' ride provides an exciting and nostalgic black cab journey through 400 years of history, travelling through scenes featuring figures of some of London's best known characters and events such as Queen Victoria, Charles Dickens and The Great Fire Of London. 

 

The shoot was taken in the evening using a range of specialist multi-exposure and post-production techniques to capture the range of high quality images required in such low-light conditions. To create the correct atmosphere it is extremely dark in parts of the ride making this especially difficult to capture.

It was an amazing honour to be invited to photograph this iconic attraction and will remain one of the high-lights of the year.
