Sometimes it’s the simplest things that are the most difficult. Generally, when we’re asked to take interior shots and promotional images, the resulting photos need to be clean, clear and eye-catching. Whether it’s for an office-based business, a shop or, as in the case of recent client The Crown Inn, a pub, the images we take need to tell potential customers exactly what the company is offering.

Occasionally getting these complex subjects to fit neatly into one shot isn’t easy. Constraints of space and time mean we often have to get creative, employing our extensive skills to make the images work and get the results we need.
The Crown Inn gastro pub
We were recently commissioned to photograph The Crown Inn in Pulham Market. The pub wanted a complete set of photos covering everything from the building to the food and the chefs to the interior. We spent some time at the pub talking to the team, getting the perfect shots and creating a set of images that show just why The Crown is so unique. Photos of the chefs and the staff were captured while they were at work, giving customers a glimpse behind the scenes of the pub. The interior and exterior shots were taken while the pub was empty in order to make the space the star of the show.
Creating images
Though many of these images look like standard, high quality photos, some are actually composites of a number of different images. One photograph in particular (featured above) is the result of blending together 42 separate shots. This has created a photograph that contains a huge amount of detail and that really does the interior of this historic pub justice.
